Motor Encoder Test

When I was the TA for the mechatronics class at SCU. We purchase a lot of the DC motors with magnetic encoders from Pololu intending to create lab kits and give them to the students. The encoders needed to be put together(nothing complicated, just soldering the inline pins to the PCA).

After this exercise, I wanted to verify my soldering skills didn't damage the boards, so I decided to use Labview and the myRio FPGA target to put together a VI. This VI helped me confirm that the motors were able to be powered on and that the encoders were reading as expected.
